Questions & Answers

The important thing is not to stop questioning.Albert Einstein

A website can’t possibly tell you everything you need to know about me, or indeed any other person you’re looking to hire. I’ve put together a short list of frequently asked questions below, but please get in touch and let me know how I can help make your decision easier.

What are your rates?
Ah, the million-dollar question. No, don’t worry, I don’t charge a million dollars (or anything close)! And I know it’s frustrating that my rates aren’t displayed but there’s a great reason for that: they change. They also depend very much on your brief – I might charge by the hour, by the day or offer a flat fee for the entire project. If it’s something I’m super interested in, I will charge less. And if you’re a charity, I may even work for free. So why not just ask me?
Which are you: a copywriter or a photographer?
Can’t I be both? I’m sure you have more than one thing you’re good at, right? I’ve spent years trying to choose between writing and photography, at times doing more of one than the other and then swapping back over. Truth is I’m happiest when there’s a bit of variety in my work life, and this combination suits me.
Where are you based?
My studio is just outside of London, but I work all over the world. If you’re located in London or the home counties, especially Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire or Oxfordshire, I can easily travel to meet you. If you’re farther afield, then the wonders of video conferencing allow us to collaborate virtually. And if you’d like to send me a ticket to wherever you are, I’m always happy to travel!
Can I see your CV?
Yes, of course! Just get in touch and I’ll be happy to send it over.
